Case Study: Victoria House
We were taken onboard by Garbe UK, the property developer, when the refurbishment works on this central London landmark building overlooking Bloomsbury Square started to run into difficulties in 2003. Our brief was to take an overview of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure and systems. This brief developed into a full blown property maintenance and operation service entailing the introduction of the planned preventive maintenance systems, providing the reactive services, re-commissioning major plant and systems where required and managing the extensive defect and warranty claims. We are still the major maintenance contractor at the building, providing a professional and tailored service to the many varied commercial, retail and entertainment industry tenants in what is now a fully operational and successfully let building encompassing over 215,000 sq ft of offices, 15,000 sq ft of retail and 60,000 sq ft of entertainment space.
